Short version: if you send me a message, I use your details only to reply to you. I don’t add you to a mailing list, I don’t sell or share your details, and I don’t do anything else with them.
What I collect#
When you use the contact form I collect your name, email address, the service you picked, and your message. That’s it — nothing more than I need to write back to you.
Why I’m allowed to hold it#
My lawful basis under UK GDPR is legitimate interest: you asked me a question, so I need your details to answer it. I don’t need your consent for that reply, and I won’t use your details for anything else without asking you first.
Where it goes#
The form is delivered by Web3Forms, a form service that simply passes your message to my inbox at [email protected]. Web3Forms acts as my data processor for that delivery; it’s a US-based service and doesn’t store your message beyond relaying it. Once it reaches me, your enquiry lives in my email — nowhere else.
How long I keep it#
I keep enquiries only as long as I need them to help you — and I’ll delete them on request.
Your rights#
You can ask me what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Just email [email protected] and I’ll sort it. If you’re ever unhappy with how I’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
